BEAVERTON, Ore. – Beaverton police arrested a woman who they said lit three road flares and threw them in a police station parking lot Friday morning.

Witnesses told police that Brenda Adams, 28, of Tigard threw the flares in the parking lot and drove away. Officers stopped her nearby. Police said evidence found during the traffic stop supported Adams being the suspect in the incident.

Adams faces charges of disorderly conduct and offensive littering.  Police say she is also the suspect in similar incidents at the police station and along Highway 26 near Camelot Court on April 4.

Police took Adams to the Washington County Jail.
