Woman bolts from her mother's home, disappears

PORTLAND, Ore. - Police are searching for a woman who disappeared and may be a threat to her own safety.

Alexis Koyama, 32, was last seen Thursday night at her mother's home in the 3100 block of Northeast 11th Avenue.

Her family called police to the home because they were concerned for Koyama's welfare but she fled on foot before officers arrived. Police searched the surrounding neighborhoods but were unable to find her.

Koyama is described as being 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing around 125 pounds. Her hair is black and shoulder length and she has brown eyes. She also has numerous tattoos and was last seen wearing a black and white striped t-shirt, gray skirt, tights and boots.

She is known to frequent the Old Town area of downtown Portland.
