BORING, Ore. – A 57-year-old Oregon City woman died at a hospital after a head-on crash in Clackamas County on Sunday night, state police said.
The crash happened on Highway 212, west of Boring, at 11:30 p.m.
Police said the two drivers were 57-year-old Cheryl Elaine Hill of Oregon City and 18-year-old Amanda J. Graham of Boring.
Investigators said Graham was driving a pickup truck eastbound on the highway when the truck crossed the center line and crashed head-on into Hill's Mazda sedan.
Hill was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to a Portland hospital, where she later died.
Graham is in critical condition, police say.
It's unclear what caused Graham's truck to cross the center line. Police say there is no evidence that drugs or alcohol are factors in the crash.
Both women were wearing seat belts, police said.
