Woman on learner's permit crashes car into auto dealership

TUALATIN, Ore. – A woman crashed a car into a car-dealership in Tualatin on Wednesday, police said.

Police said the driver failed to negotiate the turn into the parking lot at Diamond Auto Sales on Pacific Highway.

An employee who was working in a corner office at the time was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver was a 20-year-old woman who had a driver’s instruction permit. She was cited for careless driving.

Police said neither drugs nor alcohol were factors.
