Woman robbed at gunpoint after trip to Southeast Portland ATM

PORTLAND, Ore. – A pedestrian was robbed at gunpoint after using an ATM in S.E. Portland on Sunday afternoon.

Police said the gunman approached the victim from behind after she used the ATM at the U.S. Bank at S.E. Milwaukie Ave. and Franklin St. and demanded her money.

She threw some money at the man, then ran away. He chased her for a few feet before giving up and running away.

Police called in a K-9 unit to look for the man, to no avail.

The man is a described as being white and in his 40s, about 6-feet-2 and very thin. He has blond hair and was wearing a black mask, black jacket, black jeans and a black at.

He was carrying a handgun.
