Woman shot, wounded during robbery at Dotty’s in SE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore – A woman was shot and wounded during a robbery in Southeast Portland on Thursday.

Police said the 58-year-old woman was shot at a Dotty’s at 11926 S.E. Division Street around 3 p.m. The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The woman was a patron at Dotty's, police said.

The suspect fled on foot westbound on Division Street.

Police said the suspect went into the Dotty's and demanded money. After he was given money he started to leave followed by the woman. The suspect shot her and ran.

Police said they checked the area but have not yet found the suspect.

The suspect is described to be an African American in his 20s. He’s 5 feet 6 inches tall, has a thin build and was wearing dark clothes and carrying a handgun.
