Woman's body found east of Tillamook
PORTLAND, Ore. — State police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found along Highway 6 east of Tillamook, and are asking for the public's help identifying her.
Lt. Gregg Hastings says a state trooper found the body late Friday after a witness reported suspicious circumstances on the highway two miles east of Jordan Creek Road.
About 25 minutes before the discovery, the witness saw a full-size pickup stopped on the shoulder of the westbound lane, and a man and a woman were seen outside the vehicle. The witness said an eastbound commercial truck passed through the area at about the same time.
Police said the woman was white and between the ages of 18 and 25. She was about 5'8'' tall and weighed 135 to 145 pounds. She had long, bleach blond hair and a layer of dark hair underneath.
The woman was wearing a pink, buttoned down blouse underneath a camouflage long sleeve jacket, police said. She also wore "hot pink" shorts and cowboy boots with 2-inch heels. Police released a photo of the boots (right).
The woman's cause of death has not been released.
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to call 800-452-7888.
What did the Commercial Truck have to do with the story???
Hot pink shorts? Bu twas she wearing some long pants over them? It's really been cold  these recent days even in Tillamook so you'd think if she was outside going somewhere by her own volition, she would have had long pants on as well. Makes it seem like she may have been abducted while still inside somewhere.
Well, did the woman seen with the man outside his pickup match the description of the woman found?
Poor woman, condolences to her family
