Worker found dead on Tacoma crane

TACOMA, Wash. -- A man was found dead on top of a construction crane by Tacoma Fire Department personnel Tuesday afternoon.
Tacoma Fire was called to the Pierce County Terminal around noon for reports of an injured person on a crane. Once personnel got on the crane, they found the man dead.
According to Tacoma Fire, the man suffered his injuries in an industrial accident.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner and Labor & Industries will continue to investigate.

Must have been a really boring job, RIP.
I wonder what type of industrial accident it was. My heart goes out to the friends and family of this person. Hopefully the authorities and the company can figured out what happened and prevent future deaths or injuries.
There are other ways of getting out of work early.

Bummer for his family. Worker's comp won't cover the expense of the funeral let alone the loss of income.Â
