The union that represents Portland police officers plans to hold a vote of no confidence for police Chief Rosie Sizer and police Commissioner Dan Saltzman after they placed a police officer on leave.

Investigators think Mallory Ewart used money raised for Gordon Patterson’s family to bail the suspected hit-and-run driver, Eugene Cellestine, out of jail. Ewart is reportedly Cellestine’s girlfriend. Patterson, a teacher at Hudson's Bay, died at the scene of the collision.
