Man behind anti-Muslim film sentenced to prison

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The California man behind an anti-Muslim film that led to violence in the Middle East has been sentenced to a year in federal prison for probation violations in an unrelated matter.
Fifty-five-year-old Mark Basseley Youssef was sentenced Wednesday after he admitted he had used several false names in violation of his probation order and obtained a driver's license under a false name. He was on probation for a bank fraud case.
The sentence was the result of a plea bargain between Youssef's lawyers and federal prosecutors.
The probation violations were unrelated to the content of "Innocence of Muslims," a film that depicts Mohammad as a religious fraud, pedophile and womanizer. Deadly violence related to the film broke out Sept. 11 and spread to many parts of the Middle East.

"in an unrelated matter." Yeah sure.
This is just a preview of things to come under obozo's rein.Â
This smells bad. I have smelled Skunks that smelled better then this BSÂ
Holy crap. He's arrested, convicted an sentenced before Obama could even get his story straight. He gets a year in prison for using a computer to assist in making a film and what will the guy who left our people unprotected and then lies about it get? Reelected, that's what.Â
@Scotty9
If they had sent as many cops out to Bengasi as they sent to arrest him, the Ambassador would still be alive.
"anti-Muslim film that led to violence in the Middle East"
OK, we all know now that this was not the cause of that violence. Can you get the story correct?
He shouldnt be in jail....he is a hero.
"The probation violations were unrelated to the content of "Innocence of Muslims,"

Yea right. People don't go to jail for a year for probation violations.
Ok, I do not hink he really went to jail, I think he is under Police protection and I do not think they will release where he will be going because of it, but thanks for the cover story.
Ok, so they are sent this guy to jail for unrelated charges. This was a direct result of a deal with federal prosecuters. Do these guys always get involved on small violations?
Â
This is a lie; a lie propagated by those who report it. A sad thing, it seems to me.
