CARSON, Wash. - Three tribal fishermen who set out on Tuesday to place fishing nets in the Columbia River are missing and no sign of them was found when their boat was found capsized.

A tugboat recovered the partially sunken boat late Wednesday afternoon and towed it back to shore.  It had apparently gotten tangled in one of the drift nets Native Americans use to catch salmon.

The three were reported missing when they failed to return from the fishing trip.

The Coast Guard and other authorities are continuing to search the river for the men.  Winds made the Columbia River choppy on Wednesday.

Anyone with information about the missing fishermen is asked to contact Coast Guard Sector Portland at (503) 240-9301.
