SEATTLE (AP) - Health officials say a child who apparently contracted measles while overseas was infectious at the Seattle airport the evening of May 26.

The Seattle-King County health department says unvaccinated people could have been exposed to the contagious disease if they were at Sea-Tac Airport in Concourse A and baggage claim that day between 6:20 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Those people should call a health care provider if they develop a fever and rash in the next two weeks.

Health officials are worried about recent U.S. measles outbreaks that so far have caused more illnesses than at the same point of any year since 1996.
