A new Web site called BillShrink.com promises to help consumers save money, one cell phone bill at a time.

BillShrink's founder, Shwark Satyavolu, created the Web site to help people save money on their bill.

"On average, we find eight out of 10 people are paying too much for their wireless service often by $300 or more," Satyavolu said.

Instead of a customer manually searching through the millions of plans and add-ons offered by the four major carriers, Billshrink does all the work.

First, customers can import their phone bill or manually estimate their usage.

The Web site then analyzes cell phone usage and decides the best plan after comparing more than 7 million plan combinations. It even takes signal strength into account.

By switching plans, one customer could save about $830 over two years.

Satyavolu said prepaid plans, with no contract and no early termination fee, are the best for customers who use their cell phone sparingly.

"With a prepaid plan, they could go with $20-a-month if they choose to. They can save a lot of money," Satyavolu said.

Customers can also avoid extra charges by dialing 1-800-FREE-411 or 1-800-GOOG-411, which are both toll free.
