This company back in 2000 would have load brokers call you on the cell phone every 5 minutes just to ask you were you were at, when you were not even late to deliver the load . This company definately is not the safest on the road.
One of the reasons why i lost the truck i had .
I don't text at all and wonder why people want to push their luck that way. I've learned that just dailing while driving makes me more dangerous on the road. I pull over to dial now.
Really...............You go after this person who is working for a living. Just by chance you happen upon someone. Have you taken a look around? There are hundreds of people talking and texting on Portland roads everyday. What have you accomplished here? My guess is you have done it also, sure you have. Nothing is better by getting this one person on the news, other than your hopeful ratings. Look in the mirror.........
@buffrust You'd look at it differently if this texter ran over you while texting.
Wow John, what do you think the odds are of that? I could also be hit on the sidewalk by an elderly driver, sideswiped by a teen, crushed by a semi driver who is tired, smashed by a police car going way to fast for the situation, whacked by a teen with little to no experience behind the wheel, killed by a mom reaching into the back seat to slap her kid, destroyed by a dude reaching for his burger,  annihilated by a woman putting on her makeup, burnt up by a person who dropped their smoke, obliterated by a teen changing his radio station..........................get it?
