Scary experience at HO HO Chinese buffet tonight. I initially thought my fear of getting sick was the worst but in the end, the cashier/hostess was worse than the food. There were only two short rows of food choices, a few pieces in each of maybe 20 serving trays at most. I tried just a bite of several different things and none were warmer than room temperature. The crab puffs had fish (fake crab) inside fried won ton that was greasy and cold. The sugared fried dough balls were hard on the bottom. I asked if the warming trays were working and was told by the rude cashier "they are on high, but there were no customers so the food has been sitting out."  She said more hot food would be brought out but after a long wait, I asked for a refund and she said "No refund, call the police!"  It is sad to see inconsiderate people like that, who likely came to the US looking for the American dream, that are Blessed with a business opportunity, but care nothing about customer service or serving a high quality, safe product.  I wish I'd seen channel 2's report on the near failing score at HO HO's earlier.  CC      Â
I went to this buffet and all the food trays were about empty with only about 10 people in the place at 6pm, prime dinner hour. . I tried a few things that I didn't really want to eat but managed a half a plate and every thing was cold. I sat there for 20 minutes not eating anything and when they finally brought out some sweet and sour chicken that was hot, I took a bite of the 3 pieces I took and it was all raw dough inside. After waiting a half hour for something hot that I could eat all they could come up with was raw dough to make me sick. I went and asked for my money back or some portion of it and the gal in your interview said that wasn't an option. So besides being the rudest person that I have ever met that deals with the public. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS BUFFET AND RUIN YOUR EVENING! I AM PRAYING I DON"T GET FOOD POISONING!
Stop!! You made the wrong decision if you eat here! Food was cold or under cooked, The health inspector would love to come here and see cold items still on their buffet servers for people to get food poisoning. When will they close this place down.
