PORTLAND, Ore. - A dealer who was shut down last year after victims complained he sold their cars and pocketed the money sure has a lot of vehicles with 'for sale' signs and stickers on his property, so we went there to look into it.

Dave Edmonds (pictured at right) is the former owner of Gresham's Auto Link.  He was a consignment dealer who was raided by the state and closed down in October after at least 60 people filed complaints that he sold their vehicles and pocketed their money.

Edmonds told KATU he was not selling vehicles because Oregon's Department of Motor Vehicles had revoked his dealer's license.  But after we received video showing a number of vehicles outside his home that appeared to be for sale, we paid a visit to try to figure out what was going on.

We saw several vehicles in Edmonds' driveway, some with 'for sale' signs and window stickers.  And across the street at his father's home, we found more vehicles that appeared to be for sale.

Edmonds' father was not too happy to see us and charged us in the road with his front-end loader, telling us to "get out of here." He claims his son is not selling vehicles because that would be illegal.

But the man who shot the video said Edmonds told him the vehicles did not belong to him - that he was selling them on consignment for others.

State investigators have that video and said they are continuing to investigate Edmonds.  According to DMV records, neither Edmonds or his father are licensed to sell vehicles in Oregon.
