It was a routine foul ball, but a picture taken by a Richmond Times-Dispatch photographer has made Tiffany Goodwin a bit of an internet star.

Goodwin, of Fredericksburg, Va., was at a minor league baseball game between the Richmond Flying Squirrels and Harrisburg Senators on Sunday when a foul ball came flying her way.

With her 8-month old son, Jerry, still in her arms and her husband and two other children sitting nearby, Goodwin and made a perfect catch with her free gloved hand.

Photographer Mark Gormus snapped a great photo, capturing Goodwin stretched tall as she reached for the baseball while managing to hang onto her son.

The photo went viral and has run on websites across the country.

"I didn't realize it had spread to all these different places," Goodwin told the Times Dispatch on Thursday. "I was kind of shocked to see the responses.

Goodwin said her family has season tickets for the Flying Squirrels and she and her husband always take baseball gloves to protect their kids from foul balls.

"What I love about the picture is that Jerry is laid back, just eating his biscuit," Tiffany told the paper, "and the reaction on my husband's face."
