PORTLAND, Ore. - Some coaches have some explaining to do to their players after the police had to be called out to a Little League game in Portland.

Around 7:30 p.m. Friday night, police got reports of a fight at Columbia Park on North Lombard Street.

Parents and kids say it started when the coaches for Willamette and Kenton disagreed about a call.

They say one coach started banging a bat against the fence and yelling for his home team to get off the field.

The young players say they're disappointed in the behavior they saw from the adults.

Jonathan Walker, one of the players, said the adults were swearing and "they just went cuckoo."

John Wilkinson, another player, said the incident started over a call involving a foul ball.

The two teams had to end their game early. Police cleared the scene without charging anyone.
