VANCOUVER, Wash. - A woman had an odd encounter with her neighbor over the weekend after she said he broke into her home, left for a short time and then came back - all without any clothes on.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday at a home in Vancouver.

The woman told police she heard knocking on her bedroom door and then noticed a back window screen was missing and a window was open.  The front door was open as well.  She then spotted her neighbor, naked, walking back to his house next door.

By the time police arrived, 37-year-old Ilya Ryakhuvskiy was back inside the woman's home, crouching naked behind a downstairs couch.

"It was completely out of the blue," said neighbor Heather Rohrer, who talked with the victim because her kids sometimes play with the suspect's children.

In court on Tuesday, a Russian interpreter helped Ryakhuvskiy understand the charges against him.  This was not the first time he has had trouble with the law - he has previous drunk driving convictions in 2002 and 2005.

Ryakhuvskiy may not be getting out of jail anytime soon.  Because of his past arrests and convictions and his bizarre behavior in this case, he is being held on $100,000 bail.
