Roaches pour out of vents, side panels in Greyhound bus

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Riders on a New York City-bound bus from New Jersey are reporting an invasion of cockroaches.
A passenger on a Manhattan-bound bus from Atlantic City tells WABC-TV that roaches started coming out of the vents inside the bus just 15 minutes into their Friday afternoon journey.
The passenger reports roaches could be seen crawling on seats, windows, side panels and even on people.
Greyhound said the 48 passengers on board were moved to a new bus, and the bus they had been riding is being examined to determine where the bugs came from.

I think they found that missing passenger
I would have to that th busses computers had a slight issue with...bugs. ..Either that some ones laptop was riddled with bugs.
Agent Kay: Zed, we have a bug.Â
Free meal?
I hate backseat drivers.
@Kushfan Those "all in" calls will getcha every time.....
@WendyTeagarden All in works every time but once.
@Kushfan Here's a news tidbit for you:

I always thought he was weird....
@WendyTeagarden Yeah, there was something creepy about him. He always wore those weird glasses didn't he?
Well, I suppose it was better than a bed bug infestation.Â
At least the roaches don't feast on your blood.
another reason to never ride the bus, nevermind the jerrycurl grease on the windows
Aaah, as if riding a Greyhound wasn't enough of a nightmare in and of itself. Â
I would've loved to have video of that scene. I bet it was sheer panic.
"I have had it with these motherf**ing roaches on this motherf**ing bus"! (uttered by the inevitable but smelly Samuel L. Jacskon lookalike)
So their south shore NJ MTV show was cut off .??
Oh Wait they meant bugs .....well they are both pests so....
Go Greyhound and leave the fumigation to us!
no. no no no no no.
Hence the term "Roach Coach"
@WendyTeagarden  Do they serve a meal on that route?
@Kushfan chocolate-covered cockroaches
@Kushfan That's a crappy idea
@WendyTeagarden Will they be serving Red Bull too?
It's official, I am totally grossed out over this.
If you can force yourself to really look at these creatures, they really are quite fascinating! Beautiful orangy color...very sy fy oriented...and you can't fault them on their survival techniques. You really need to admire them. I've never seen one in "person"...do they really smell???? From what? Anyhow...I don't want to run into one...but they're really something :)
@fracas Lots of them right here in beautiful downtown Portland. I was using the, ahem, facilities in a quite modern office structure downtown when this HUGE cockroach skittered towards me. About an inch across. Needless to say, it didn't last long. STOMP!Â
Some of the restaurants in old town are just crawling with them, too. That's probably why they keep them so dimly lit.
@fracas Used to live in Texas and they were everywhere. Those suckers can FLY! And they usually aim for YOU! Creepy! In the summer time, you'd have to duck and cover when you came in the house at night because they'd fly near the front doors by the porch lights - and they are big too. They freak me out. If you'd squish one, and turn your back to get something to scoop them up with - their "friends" would carry them off when you weren't looking too - kind of like a sci-fi movie.  Still makes my skin crawl!Â
You feel free to admire them. I'm going to enjoy my life cockroach free.Â
@Justanother1 @fracas ... their roach pals didn't *necessarily* cart them off when you weren't looking. What more than likely happened is ... even though you stomped the roach, it did not die!Â
I myself have struck one (yes, in Texas) climbing up the wall with one of those L.L. Bean boots with the rubber chain pattern sole. It made a crunchy sound, fell to the floor, laid there, and then started hauling a** right at me! Yes, I screamed.
@Justanother1 @fracas I hate Texas! The bees and wasps are super aggressive, too, and the wasps are huge and RED and love to hover about an inch from your nose, just staring at you.
I spent most of my outdoor time in Texas flailing around like a madwoman.
@WhenCowsAttack The wasp is the only enemy of the tree-killing bagworm. I love wasps! I had a couple of huge red wasp nests in my garage. I would stand and watch them, about a foot away, and they never tried to nail me. I'd watch them drop over the roof of my house and come into their little home. Wish I'd have videotaped it.
A Greyhound bus is in fact the original roach hotel
@danoseknows bugs check in but they don't pay fares....Â

"...and the bus they had been riding is being examined to determine where the bugs came from."
Have you seen the type of folks who ride Greyhound. There is your answer.
they probably came from snooki's yoohoo
@LostSoulÂ
The bus is the same size.....8-}
@RalphCramden No kidding, they came out of some homeless guy's luggage, duh, and fed on stale Dorito and Taco Bell crumbs till they had themselves an army.
Then they moved for total domination of the bus.
@WhenCowsAttack
Now that's funny.....
@RalphCramden New website: People of Greyhound.
@WendyTeagarden
All they have to do is change the name of People of Walmart cause it is the same folks who star in it.
@RalphCramden The newest 'Person of Wal Mart'

@RalphCramden I had to take a Greyhound from Vegas to St. George, UT a couple of years ago to pick up a Cessna.
Sunday morning Greyhound out of Vegas... good God, that's depressing. Amtrak is my favorite.
@Playanekes
Greyhound has some pretty shady characters on there and the smell is pretty nasty most of the time.
@RalphCramden @Playanekes My only experience with Greyhound was a trip back from San Diego on a bus that was filled to capacity  Shortly out of town we made a pit stop at a building and every person of Hispanic heritage was taken off the bus and after that everyone had a row to themselves.  What a racket for Greyhound they get all those fares without having to actually transport a good portion of their passengers all thanks to INS.
