Saving face: Ind. man removing Romney-Ryan tattoo

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (AP) — A northern Indiana man who had the Mitt Romney-Paul Ryan campaign logo tattooed onto his face "to make politics fun" says it's time for it to come off.
Eric Hartsburg of Michigan City, Ind., says he plans to have the red-and-blue "R'' removed from its prominent place next to his right eye.
He says a Republican supporter paid him $15,000 to get the tattoo and keep it until at least the election was over.
Weeks after President Barack Obama defeated the former Massachusetts governor in the Nov. 6 election, Hartsburg says "now to me it represents not a losing campaign, but a sore losing campaign."
Hartsburg says he reached out to the Romney campaign about the tattoo, but feels snubbed that no campaign staffer ever contacted him.

Oh, I hear he's going to have a bright red "L" tattooed onto the middle of his forehead.
Some people are just...well...stupid!
Â
Unfortunately, removing a tattoo won't change that.
Â
It would take a lot more than 15 grand for me to get a stupid tattoo like that.
@Ixyavi Ture, but it would be way worse if it was a BO.

Â
Well Duh! You are obviously no rocket scientist Eric Hartsburg. Oh, and I bet your momma is proud!
Â
Good luck getting that thing off. Of course they could probably cut most of Hartsburg's head off without damage. Another option is simply to cover up the red and blue with a big black "L" for the Loser he is.
On a lighter note, later in the day he told his friend to "hold my beer, watch this"......Indiana, the kentucky of the north
"Sore losing campaign"? Is he refering to Mitt's pathetic phone call to donors, or his own dejection because the now defunct campaign team is ignoring him?
smart as a box of rocks!!!
He might want to lose the pink ponytail holder, too.
I'd want to save face too, but it's much too late for that. He's branded himself with a symbol of failure.
What does it say on his neck? Nixon?
He should just a an IDIOT tattoo on his forehead to complete it.
@Jamie  Or perhaps an "O-Mitt" tatoo

I know it's insensitive on my part, but that made me laugh.Â
BTW, good luck getting those colors lasered off.. Red and blue are much more difficult than black. It will take more than a year of ongoing laser treatments, cost thousands of dollars, and probably leave you with a nasty "R"-shaped scar on your face. Jackass.
The Romney campaign never contacted you because they are embarrassed for you.
No amount of money could get me to tattoo THAT on my body. Big dummy.
