BANDON, Ore. - Cycle Oregon rolled south from Bandon and back again on Wednesday.
This was Day 4 of the weeklong party on wheels, an Oregon tradition that turns an estimted 2,200 bicyclists loose on the byways and highways of Oregon.
Money raised by the ride funds a foundation that in turn funds projects in host communities.
The ride Tuesday, dubbed "Cape Crusaders," took riders 76 miles south along Highway 101. The ride resumed Wednesday with rides south to Port Orford and back.
Cycle Oregon will stay in Bandon again Wednesday night, then go mobile again Thursday en route to Powers and make for Riddle on Friday.
The ride wraps up Saturday in Sutherlin.
