New state park opens in Oregon
By KATU.com StaffWALLOWA COUNTY - Gov. Ted Kulongoski joined a crowd of around 150 this week to celebrate the opening of Oregon's newest state park.
The park is the sixth new park opened under the governor's Park a Year initiative. Other parks opened under the project include Sunset Beach, Stub Stewart, Fort Yamhill, Thompson's Mills and Crissey Field. |
