Surfing competition is coming to the Oregon Coast
LINCOLN CITY, Ore. - Surfers from around the world are on their way to Oregon for a big wave surfing competition.
Organizers of the Nelscott Reef Tow-In Classic have given the green light for the contest. They wait until the swell forecast calls for the best waves and then give competitors a couple of days to reach Lincoln City.
The competition will be held Thursday when waves 17 feet and larger are forecast.
