NEAR ASTORIA, Ore. - More birds have died on the Oregon coast in what appears to have been a deliberate attack.

According to the Wildlife Center of the North Coast, a Good Samaritan found two dead gulls and an injured gull Tuesday afternoon at Sunset Beach near Astoria.

Cookies were found at the scene, as if someone had tried to lure the birds, and there were multiple tire tracks in the sand.

The injured gull was hurt so badly that it had to be euthanized.

This is the third time seabirds have been found dead at Sunset Beach this past month.  And about four weeks ago, a young man hit and killed nearly 50 seabirds in Long Beach, Washington.
