LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) - A fishing boat collided with a bridge on the Snake River in Lewiston and sank, claiming the life of one man.

The Nez Perce County Sheriff's Office says divers recovered the body of a Lewiston man after the accident Wednesday morning.

The man was not immediately identified.

Authorities say the boat collided with the bridge pier at about 5:30 a.m. and sank about 30 feet.

Another occupant of the boat was not seriously injured.
