I am surprised that kitzhaber does not have a state employee in mexico signing up "voters", with promises of Oregon medical care, education, welfare and driver licenes with no insurance or citizenship requirements and ballots already completed because they can't read or write english
The fact that we don't live in a swing state,I don't see how a presidential vote really matters no?
@noneofyourbizzness Also, I notice that by the time the Oregon primary comes around, the race is pretty much already decided. It sure would be nice if the states would all have their primary election on the same day. That way states like Iowa and New Hampshire dont get so much national attention.
If you are lost for a decent reason or are incapable of arguing for the continuance or advancement of your political ideology, follow the lead of the few on these blogs. Simply misspell or intentionally alter the name of the candidate that is ahead of your candidate. See how that works for you.
Only losers vote.
 @on shing dao Call me a loser then. As for you, I call you a troll.
 @shek069 Excellent. Continue voting for your crappy candidates.
"on shing dao Call me a loser then. As for you, I call you a troll" Right on!
 @on shing dao Absolutely! And I plan on being a loser in that respect. Thanks!
And for the question if voter fraud and the republiCON answer to use suppression !...hmmm, they can't even make a good argument of fraud !

That rag you read is worse than fox news. How can you think anything on that website is real????
I see no problem to have to be required to show ID when voting.
Â
You have to show proof of age to get , smokes ,alcohol,tattoos, get past security at the airport, get a bank account, etc.
Â
Here are the Clark County WA requirements:
To Register & Vote in Clark County You Must:
Be a U.S. citizen Be 18 years old by the day of the next election Be a resident of Clark County Have your full civil rights( not a felon) @sargerator Just read the article. Nothing but a bunch of liberal garbage. Why don't you post something from a neutral unbiased website? I bet you can't!
 @shek069 those exist?
 @sargerator So you don't think people should have to show I.D. to vote? Why not? Before the days of mail in voting, one always had to show I.D. at the polls. I remember it well from the first time I was old enough to vote in 1982. In fact I was proud of the fact and proudly showed my I.D.
 @shek069 "I...proudly showed my I.D." God, fascism would love you.
I'm a firm believer if you don't vote, you don't get a say when it comes to politics.
Questions for Kate Brown, SoS State of Oregon:
If, some person falsely affirms (via the online registration process/form) they are: a US citizen, are 18 yrs or older, and are a resident of Oregon..
Â
a). How would you know they submitted false information (eg. committed a Federal felony in illegally participating in elections) and b). What would you do about it? and c). How often has your office found illegal/false registrations in the State? Â Finally, discuss, explain, and critique the statement: 'Everyone should be allowed to vote in Oregon'.
Let me add one question as a footnote: "Is a mere online affirmation enough to stop a person with nefarious intent that might try to illegally register/vote in Oregon?"
 @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsPhredE Yeah....like, Kate Brown spends SO much time on here.
I'm voting for Wendy.
@Kushfan ...as Queen of California??????
What the hay. Couldn't hurt.
Very Proud of this line:
Â
Party: Â Not a member of a party
Â
Â
 @Repoman That's means you're voting Republican. We get it.
 @Repoman No one in their right mind should be.
Political Parties are for politicians, not for free citizens.
If everyone registered as unaffiliated, politicians would have no choice but to offer candidates that didn't suck.
 @Repoman ~  Me, too, Repoman..!  :-)
Remember to vote early and vote often.
 @Obongo Geddon Just like the dead do in Chicago..Â
 @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsPhredE You heard about the zombie outbreak in Washington D.C., near the Capitol? All the Zombies died of starvation for lack of brains.
 @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsPhredE Yeah you got it!
AND don't bitch if you don't vote. Funny how the loudest complainers are the ones who don't bother to register.
 @iamtroglodite How about not voting as a form of protest? Voting just for the sake of voting accomplishes nothing. People like to have something to complain about, so they will generally choose the person that's will disappoint them less.
 @shek069 trolling is fun.
 @iamtroglodite  @on  @shek069 He's kind of like an irritating rash. He's harmless but he won't go away.
Sorry about that, I am still trying to get this typing thing down. I just moved out of my cave a month ago and my wife is working on getting me "civilized". I am the first to admit I am not perfect! I am a perfect example that nobody is perfect.
 @iamtroglodite You have come to the wrong place for intelligent banter. It's so bad you couldn't even spell the word right.
@on shing dao @shek069 OK, OK! For God's sake I give up! I am relatively new to this blog thing. I thought it was a place to have inteligent banter, hopefully fun, but "on shing dao" has proved me wrong. I guess some people are just so bitter they have to try to ruin it for others. I am going to vote for who I am going to vote; no used up piece of contaminated toilet paper will ever sway my way of thinking. I hope some of the other folks on here will do the same and ignore the constant drival comming from people like "on shing dao"
 @shek069 Guess you're not used to winning given the teams you choose to support.
 @Mikey  @on shing dao You got the fool part correct....
 @on shing dao That's why they have write-ins. Put on the ballot that you protest, otherwise they'll just mark you down as another apathetic fool.
 @iamtroglodite I bitch and I vote, how do you like me so far?
 @ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsPhredE Well, that all depends on what you're voting for and what you're bitching about. ;-)
@ThePosterFormerlyKnownAsPhredE @iamtroglodite I vote and bitch, also. A person (in my opinion, which means diddly to anyone else) earns the right AND privilage to complain if the mutts they voted for or against do not do what they "promised". But, if someone does not vote and uses the cop-out "not voting as a form of protest" should not bitch. Funny thing is, they are the ones that make the most noise!
 @iamtroglodite I agree!! Whenever anyone wants to get in a political debate or anything of the like with me I always ask if they vote and if they say no, I wont have that conversation with them. Â
