PORTLAND, Ore. - President Obama, feeling the heat after a poor showing in his first debate with challenger Mitt Romney, is looking to strike back.
Romney, with poll numbers on the rise, is looking to keep the momentum rolling.
They meet again tonight in a town hall-style debate.
Lewis and Clark College politics professor, rhetoric teacher and debate coach Joe Gantt has a preview of what to look for during tonight's debate.
What is the elevation of the debate location? Â This could be a critical factor for Obama.
@Hellbilly I think even the heals on his shoes have been causing problems lately. I am shocked that Obama and Rice have not blamed the entire Libya fiasco on him wearing heals causing him to have altitude sickness all the time.
Why even bother to have the debates, if "experts" and pundits already determine what and how to say what we all can see for ourselves later today. Are we no longer able to decide for ourselves? Its just like the analysts telling us what we heard after debates, or how we should interpret answers given during the live debate. Why? The experts are not superhuman and their personal vote counts only as one vote. I want to see and hear the debate, not have them tell me what to look for, or interpret what they did say!  Â
@jpk Besides we all know that know matter how bad Obama did this time the main stream press will call it a win for Obama to insure they try to stop the slide after the public saw the real Romney last week and decided he was more competent for the job then Obama.
