PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland City Commissioner Amanda Fritz says she won't run for re-election.

Fritz said she will be happy to let someone else fill her seat in 2016.

“It's more than a full-time job, and I think it's helpful to have other people having a turn,” Fritz said.

She plans to concentrate on better funding for Portland parks during her final term.

“There are other people out there who would do a good job helping the city of Portland, and so I'm happy to let someone else take a turn,” Fritz said.
