@Patrick That's quite the tirade, do you feel better now?? I suggest you make another appointment with your therapist.
same sex marriage is morally wrong. Â Common sense tells one that.
@kahn Morally wrong? I think it's morally right.  What do you base your thinking on to deem it immoral?  Common sense would dictate it is the right thing since it gives a more even lifestyle to those who have committed themselves to each other and can get the same benefits as others already receive.  Same sex relationships are  even in the animal kingdom.  So I'm not sure what common sense you're referring to. Â
Substitute "race mixing" for "same sex marriage" and try that one.. how's it sound?
@r75 Not the same, try again.
@kahn Why is that??  Is it because you have experienced firsthand what it feels like to be discriminated against, beaten up, kicked out of the home you've ever known, being told that you're a worthless piece of Sh*t, spat on every time your dad comes home, physically abused to the extent that you lose your penis, and all this before you even had sex with a member of the same-sex?  I find it interesting that you are using a genetically altered character to portray yourself.  He was a superhuman that was seen different therefore reacts out in the form of violence.  common sense is something that tells one that if you stick your hand in a fire its gonna hurt, or if you stick your tongue on a ice cold pole, its gonna get stuck. it doesn't tell you anything about who you are.  being gay, bi or straight comes from puberty and or your brain early on in the forming of your body.  Whose general morals are you going by example here???  you already seem to be one that follows other convictions and beliefs, and cannot think for yourself.  If you are a religious man and are following the "word of god" then thats not up to you or the human population to decide.  ultimately it is god that should be judging everyone for their sins, if and when he does we "ALL" are going to hell for everything. going to work on sunday, and all those pesky ten commandments that we are all supposed to live by will be his own decision.  it should not be yours to decide and it is not yours to decide.  I am a gay, deaf, man with cerebral palsy, ADHD, with memory loss, and brain damage. I have over come a lot of things in my life to get to where i am. I am not about to let someone with the likes of you tell me who I should be able to marry.  Marriage has been so heavily associated with procreation and expanding the human race.  what about those who are married and are one man and one woman, that decide not to have children even before they did get married. Should they not be allowed to marry ? or what about those poor kids in other cultures that are married off as property ? I know what i want, I ultimately want whats right and legal.  I want to be able to be free to see my husband in the hospital while he lays dying in a hospital without staff or family members telling me I have no rights to be there. I want to be able to be insured without having to pay more than you, I want to be able to walk hand in hand without feeling scared or threatened.  Finally I want to love and be loved in return, that is which is the greatest experience any human being can have in their lifetime.
