As an investigation into allegations of ballot tampering by a temporary election worker continues, the number of ballots believed to be affected is now at six.

The number was previously at two until Secretary of State Kate Brown issued an update on Election Day.

"To date, Clackamas County, under supervision of my elections monitors, has identified six ballots that were potentially altered by the accused temporary county elections employee," Brown said in a statement issued Tuesday. "The total number of ballots potentially affected is still under investigation by the Department of Justice."
