PORTLAND, Ore. - A Portland mayoral candidate's driving record has come under scrutiny.

The Oregonian reports that Jefferson Smith's license has been suspended four times.

Smith has admitted that his license was suspended back in 2004 but newly released Department of Motor Vehicle documents show three more suspensions, including one from 2010. He got his license back in January of 2011.

Smith said he didn't mention his other suspensions because he is embarrassed about his driving record.
