A new poll shows Washington voters would elect President Barack Obama to a second term if the election were held today.

According to the Survey USA poll conducted for KATU News, 56 percent of voters polled said they would vote for Obama while 36 percent said they would vote for Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

4 percent said they would vote for another candidate and 3 percent said they were undecided. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4.3 percent.

The poll shows that Hispanic voters in Washington prefer President Obama. 63 percent of voters polled said they would vote for Obama, while 28 percent said they would vote Romney.

Voters polled who make more than $80,000 dollars per year also favored Obama by a margin of 63 percent to 34 percent for Romney.

Of voters polled who were age 65 or older, 43 percent said they would elect Romney – his highest percentage among age splits. 53 percent of polled voters older than 65 said they would vote for Obama.
