On this week's "Your Voice, Your Vote" KATU reporters Hillary Lake and Chelsea Kopta discuss their investigative reporting that has uncovered many of the missteps leading up to the failed launch of Cover Oregon’s website.

How much did Gov. John Kitzhaber know about the problems before the website was to go online, and when did he know it? The reporters discuss a KATU interview with Kitzhaber on the problems with the website that was cut short after the governor was asked about an email sent from a state legislator to his office months before the launch of the website. The legislator raised red flags that the project was in trouble.

Also, former U.S. Rep. Elizabeth Furse joins KATU's Steve Dunn in the show's second segment because she's filed to run for a seat on the Washington County Commission.

Her jump back into politics stems from her concern that the county commission wants to dip outside the urban growth boundary for land development.

"My goal is that we preserve what we love and then we invest in the future. And that's kids, fire, safety, making sure our cities are really livable (and) not reaching beyond that," she told Dunn.

Furse will challenge Bob Terry in May's election. He currently holds the District 4 county commission seat.
