CORVALLIS, Ore. - A former star pitcher for the Oregon State Beavers will serve 15 days in jail for shooting a rifle inside the Corvallis city limits in 2007.

Jorge Reyes, 20, was with two other baseball players when they fired three shots into a neighbor's house.

Reyes was part of the Beavers run to a second straight college world series title in 2007 and was named the outstanding player of the tournament.

Reyes claimed that the shots hit the home accidentally.
