CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) _ Sean Canfield threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns today as Oregon State cruised to a 61-10 win over Idaho State.
Sammie Stroughter had 160 yards receiving and two touchdowns for the Beavers.
Idaho State quarterback Russel Hill was 23-of-38 for 295 yards and four interceptions for the Bengals, who entered the game off a 37-11 win over Southern Oregon. Eddie Thompson of the Bengals had 12 receptions for 174 yards, both career highs.
Down 28-0 late in the second quarter, Hill drove the Bengals deep into Oregon State territory, but Keenan Lewis intercepted a pass in the end zone. On the next drive, Hill engineered an eight-play, 53-yard drive that Branden Jones capped with a 26-yard field goal at the end of the half.
Hill hit Josh Barnett for a 47-yard TD pass early in the fourth for the Bengals.
