Ducks suspend tackle cited for DUII

EUGENE, Ore. - The Ducks indefinitely suspended a senior defensive tackle who was cited for DUII "pending clarification of an incident that occurred Friday morning in Eugene," head football Coach Chip Kelly said in a press release.

Kelly did not describe the incident or how senior defensive tackle Isaac Remington was involved.

Eugene Police told KVAL News an officer cited Remington for driving under the influence of intoxicants after a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m. at 12th and Kincaid.

A police spokeswoman did not know what kind of intoxicant.

Remington was cited and released and wasn't booked into the Lane County Jail, police said.

Remington, a native of Phoenix, Ariz., is tied for third on the team in tackles for loss with four for minus 13 yards among his 12 tackles in six games, including four stops earlier this year against the University of Arizona.
