Geez, are we playing football or entering a fashion contest? Duck, get over yourself and see if you can win this game. Flash alone won't cut it as we saw in your loss to Stanford.Â
 @peckishpete If you played for a college football team, would you turn down a new uniform every game? It's not like they are requesting them. Look good = Feel good. I like to get all my Nike gear out when I hit the gym, shows that you are confident in what you are doing and want to see the finished result right in front of your eyes. No one wants to look like a slob...;-)
@mikeyb123 So teams like Ohio State and Florida St. and others who put stuff on their helmets if they play a good game and who have been playing good football far longer than the Ducks should give up that tradtion so they don't look like slobs.Â

Actually, the fashion aspect is becoming a huge recruiting tool and apparently worth the investment.

I think it's stupid that college football has gotten so over the top, but it is what it is and I can't fault the Ducks for playing that part of the game better than most. If you're going to look flashy, you better play flashy too.Â

@peckishpete you're right, it takes an awful lot of help from an inept officiating crew to beat Oregon, as we saw in the Stanford ame.
