Portland State signs 21 players

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland State coach Nigel Burton strengthened the offensive and defensive lines with his latest recruiting class.

Five offensive linemen and four defensive linemen were among the 21 players who signed letters of intent to play for the Vikings on Wednesday. The overall group includes 15 prep players, four junior college transfers, and two transfers from four-year schools.

All five offensive linemen are Oregonians, including Chad Bach from Mountain View High School, Ryan Brown of Jesuit, Justin Outslay of Salem Academy, Austin Powell of Crescent Valley High School and Alex Sirois of Century high.

New defensive linemen include ends Davond Dade of Crespi Carmelite High School in Los Angeles, and Desmoun Thompson of Kennedy Catholic in Washington. Transfer Daniel Fusi and Crescent Valley High School's Bryon Bodon will play at tackle.
