J.J. Altobelli, Christian Jones and Brett Thomas were all drafted on the final day of the Major League Baseball Draft on Saturday. The Ducks finished with six players drafted, the second most in school history behind the eight drafted in 2011.

Wiper (Bellevue, Wash./Newport HS) was selected in the 10th round, the 310th overall pick, by the Texas Rangers. The freshman finished the season with a 2-1 record and a 7.11 ERA in seven appearances. He struck out four in 12.2 innings pitched.
