Glanville has gone 9-24 in three seasons with the Vikings. This past season, Portland State went 2-9 overall and 1-7 in the Big Sky Conference. PSU President Wim Wiewel said Glanville "has been a great contributor to the PSU community." The school hopes to have a new coach in place by early December.
LaMichael James had 150 rushing yards and three touchdowns, Jeremiah Masoli threw for two scores, and the Oregon defense held Arizona State to 212 yards of offense in a 44 to 21 win on Saturday night.
Jacquizz Rodgers ran for 159 yards, Sean Canfield threw for four touchdowns and Oregon State kept its Rose Bowl hopes alive with an 48 to 21 win over Washington on Saturday.
