EUGENE, Ore. -- Justin Roper or Nate Costa?

The race to quarterback the University of Oregon Ducks football team is still on.

Last Saturday, Roper continued his strong training camp by leading the number two offense on five scoring drives in seven opportunities.

Quarterbacking the number ones, Costa could not get much done.

Coach Mike Bellotti said Roper has closed the gap in the QB competition but said "it's still too close to call."
