PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden was scheduled Wednesday to have an MRI on his right foot, which he injured in the season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Oden injured his foot in the first quarter of the Blazers' 96-76 loss in Los Angeles Tuesday night. The team says that initial X-rays were inconclusive.

The 7-foot center was the top pick in the 2007 draft but did not play last season after he had microfracture surgery on his right knee.
