Famiglietti wins steeplechase

(AP) -- Anthony Famiglietti, Billy Nelson and Josh McAdams have qualified for the U.S. Olympic team in the men's steeplechase. Famiglietti finished in 8 minutes, 20.24 seconds. He's already won in Beijing, taking first at the World University Games in 2001. Nelson, who just wrapped up his career at Colorado, sprinted past McAdams to take second place, finishing in 8:21.47, at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials. |
