Heavy rain will fall overnight, and as yet another cold front moves in from the ocean, it'll be windy again. The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for the coast until 7am Sunday with gusts to 70mph. The valley is under a wind advisory with gusts to 50mph possible. In the Cascades, a winter storm warning runs through 4pm Sunday with 18" of new snow falling, the snow level down to 2,500 feet. East of the mountains, a mix of rain, snow and wind, with weather warnings up until 4pm Sunday, 1-4" of snow possible at the lower elevations, mainly for the east side of Oregon and Washington.
Rain turns to showers for the valley in the middle of the day and we may be dry for much of the afternoon, and most of Monday until another front moves late Monday and early Tuesday, with more rain and wind.
