Jesse & Clayton

Father & Son Salmon Fishing on Columbia

Jesse and his father (Jesse L. Meek) have fished the Columbia River ever since Jesse was a little boy and today Jesse continues the tradition with his son Clayton. Clayton's first salmon fishing trip - the 6 years old boy caught a 35 lbs fall Chinook. Seeing is believing.

What about releasing wild fish? Is this important? This season does not require an adipose fin clip to retain a salmon. One of the reasons no adipose fin is required is that ODFW and WDFD do not clip all hatchery fish. No adipose fin does NOT=WILD.

Nice fish Clayton but what about releasing wild fish? Looks like it has a adipose fin on its back = WILD
