I moved to Kentucky three years ago to be closer to my grandchildren and found myself in a foreign country! To compensate for my homesickness, I've done little things to help establish my individualism, something that is so important and encouraged in the Northwest. My Kentucky license plate reflects this. interestingly, very few people here "get it". Last fall I was given a warning citation for speeding and the cop wrote my plate down as reading: "Dry Gun"! Well, it was 1.30 in the morning, so I have to think he was probably pretty tired.
I miss the NW and am determined to make it home as soon as possible. In the meantime, I rely on KATU and all my friends still out there to keep me up on the real life!

LMAO! Love it. My husbands family lived for awhile in South Dakota while he was a kid. His teacher told the class one day in Oregon there was a river called the Will-a-mette . Hubby kept getting in trouble for correcting him.

About the frame: got it custom made at the Oregon State Fair many years ago, and no, they don't "get" that either.
