This all seemed to be happening around 3-4am on 9/12/2010 and i had just started to head to bed when i saw what seemed to be flashing lights out my bedroom window. The street shown is SE 25th St in Vancouver Washington. I didn't hear any accident or any type of siren at the time so i was puzzled as to why there were police blocking off a road. In the morning i went out to look and saw what seems from the distance one or two cars hit each other or a tree halfway down the road. The morning pictures were taken just after 7am.

It looks like the kid is going to make it! Please remember that if you do not know the families involved then do not assume that they are not good people. This is a terrible accident.

as well as the parents except for the drivers knew where there kids were. the driver stole her fathers car and drove without a license. I think that everyone should stop assuming because they are teens and send them their best wishes in recovery.

if you dont know what you are talking about then stop talking. The two other passengers that are concious had 0 alcohol in their system, we dont know about the driver, we cant talk to her w/o her lawyer. it is her fault. in a 25mph zone doin 100mph

Does anyone know where I can find a more detailed aticle about this? One of my friends was involved and I don't know much about it
says ... on Tuesday, Sep 14 at 5:38 PM
Yes there was alcohol involved she was going over 100 and one is in critical condition and probably wont make it. The reason names are not being released is there are minors involved.

Scruffy Scirocco: FYI - PIR does offer street legal drag racing on Friday and Saturday nights. My husband and I have been there many times as a spectators and racers. It's a good outlet, but it's different then racing on the streets.

As for the kids in that car...I hope you all four take responsibility for your part and don't point fingers at the driver. You all decided to fib to your parents, take the car, drink and now live with the consequences. Lesson almost learned.

Oh, man, Dad's gonna be so mad when he sees his car! I live near SR500 and St. Johns, and we always hear drag racers at night. The cops should sponsor days at PIR to let these teens get this out of their system in a controlled environment.

I live right in this neighborhood, and so many of these young drivers like to Drift around the corners here. You can hear them at late at night if your windows are open. I wouldnt be suprised if this is how this accident occured.

"Do you know where your kids are?" I'm sure these parents didn't. No, they weren't going to work. They are 4 young teens in highschool and reports state the driver does not even have a drivers license! I would assume alcohol is involved as well.Sad

Yikes! That's horrible!
says ... on Monday, Sep 13 at 6:47 AM
At 3:40 A.M. I doubt if they were going to work. No skid marks, I would bet there was alcohol involved.
