This was taken several weeks ago. This aircraft, I think it is an F-15S, may be part of N.A.T.O. and was in a hurry when it took off.

Dan is correct. If it was a real "scramble" you would have seen orange flame exhaust, indicating afterburners in use. Also the tail marking indicate it is Portland Air National Guard,143FW. Airframes were built before these local pilots were born.

"In a hurry when it took off"??? He most likely had an ATC clearance for immediate departure due to landing traffic on short final..
