This tree is unsafe
This tree,on 10th Ave near Shute Park in Hillsboro has been damaged and needs to be removed ASAP.
It hangs out over the roadway and is already starting to split. In my opinion, it's just a matter of time before it falls.
This area has a lot of traffic congestion and it could easily fall on a car.

Since Washington County has been notified and has taken no action, then they are now liable for damages when the tree falls and kills someone. Washington County has a tombstone mentality.

tonight when no traffic is going through, cut it down, the county will be there first thing to clean it up. they look for problems once they happen.

It's a county highway, not city of hillsboro. Call washington county.

I called the police non emergency number, they said they would send someone out to look at it. When it rains the extra weight will add to the risk.

The damage to the trunk is about ten feet off the ground. The area of the trunk damage doesn't show up in the picture as well as I had hoped.
